green mean smoothie Paleo, Gluten-Free, Vegan

Serves 2


  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond mylk
  • 2 cups chopped kale or baby spinach, organic preferably
  • 1 frozen zucchini (peel a zucchini, slice, and place in freezer)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 small avocado
  • 2 scoops of hemp seed protein powder or vegan protein power of choice
  • 1 teaspoon of matcha green tea powder
  • 1 teaspoon of maca powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of spirulina powder
  • A small knob of freshly grated ginger or 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of chia seeds


  1. First, grind the oats in a high speed blender or food processor until they turn into a flour.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the protein powder and the chia seeds. Blend until thoroughly combined.
  3. Add the protein powder and chia seeds and blend until combined.
